I'm not far away, only IA. If you look at the first picture, there is some rubber grippy stuff with raised nubs on the back side. The cowl in my pile has always leaked, but that stuff keeps the carpet 1/2" above the metal, so when water gets in there, it'll dry out fast, and it does. I also use larger floor mats now, one is an old truck "anti-sail" mudflap, and it works well. I used undercoating and bedliner on it when I put that cab on, but it didn't do much to knock the sound down, keep the exhaust heat out or the cab heater heat in. Since I put that carpet in there, this past winter it would get fairly warm in there.
