I went to a fabric store and bought some headliner material, it already has the felt on the back,
i also did something a little different when cleaning the cardboard backing, i actually peeled a very thin layer
off (almost like masking tape) when done it was like new and perfectly clean and ready for the 3M
spray glue.

Use the 3m super 77 spray glue in the red and black can. It works great.

wow just figured i would cruise on over here for the first time since i sold my truck and saw this in the recent threads lol.
but all i used was a light weight fleece. only thing bad i can say about it is if you spray too much glue it will bleed through and your smoothing tool will be covered in fuzz by the time you realize it got glue on it!

oh btw if your worried ya cant do this your wrong. i did this with broken knuckles hand was in a cast and my only aid was the dumb ex gf lol

I redid mine a few years back and used to heavy of material. I used a heavy fleece, It looked good for a while but its startin to sag in spots.

Like Steve said if a short guy with a gimpy arm can do it anyone can.
