Oh damn, what in the hell is making it hold blood in your foot like that? I've busted my shins/knees (shut up, Pete) plenty of times and never had anything like that happen.

I assume you're keeping it elevated and completely covered in ice?

Also, nice progress on your truck. :D

Sorry to see it halted. :?

This...

The hematoma will drain wherever gravity takes it...which was too my foot. I ice my knee and foot when I can.

Yeah, not much progress on The Pile, soon enough I will be able to get back to it....

You know, in every one of those pics that sthi ain't elevated. :P

I was in a wrestling match not that long ago and got suplexed across my living room and my foot landed right on my supercharger. (Yeah, if it had been on my truck it never would have happened, shut up :P) My foot swelled up like a golf ball in that one spot, the only way I could get it to go down was keeping it above my head. Even sitting in a recliner wasn't enough.

It got old watch8ing TV upside down with my leg up on the couch.

I think that 1st pic is cool! 8) The coloring is nice, it looks like a tattoo! If that is just blood and not bruising on your foot, soak it with warm compresses or a heating pad and keep it way up. Cold is to reduce swelling, heat helps healing. Cold closes the capillaries and slows blood flow, heat is the opposite. It opens them and promotes blood flow, helping healing and breaking up and carrying that old blood out.

Levi, you wouldn't have that knee and shin problem if you quit letting those fat girls ride you like a pony. ;)

You'd think that'd be rough on my wrists, but they've been rigorously trained for any sort of strenuous activity. 8)

Also, don't listen to any of my medical advice, I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I didn't stay there either, but I rode motorcycle for about 30 years and been wrenching for 35. Plus all the stupid alcohol related injuries in between. (like Levis knees ;) ) Kinda learned a few things.

Pete, my friend, be careful! You're steaming towards 20, yes 20, useful posts. Your reputation is at stake!

I hope you're back to good again soon Ike. You were making great progress.

Pretty good. Got the stiches removed today, I can bend my knee to about 45 degrees, most of the blood in my foot has been absorbed. My leg is in decent enough shape I can start making progress on the pile again...
