You should sell that hydroboost conversion to me so it can sit on my shelf collecting dust and never getting installed

Pete I know I've asked before but when you did your RC tank did you install one or two pipes to act as cross members? I'm getting ready to finally do mine since my factory tanks sender is all screwed up now.

Shit, I don't remember! Pretty sure it was a pipe in the front and angle iron in the rear. I put angle on the ends to hold it to the frame and I welded tabs for the strap bolts. The angle I just drilled. I'll see if I can find the pics.
Found it!

Thank you sir. I pulled my hitch off today and cleaned out my tank. I need to get a piece of pipe. I also noticed my rear main has a good leak starting. I guess I'll be fixing that before long.

No problem buddy! I see now that I welded angle to the tube, then heated it and bent it to follow the contour of the pipe for a good hold for the straps. I kinda overbuild sometimes. ;) The ends are angle welded to the tube and then bolted to the frame thru a convenient hole. Angle iron across the back is welded to the frame, IIRC.

Well still dicking with the tank setup but I picked up a set of third gen 1500 wheels yesterday from a friend. To you guys running third gen 2500 wheels what size spacers are you running, 1.5"?

I think they will do nicely on it. I priced some 275/45R20's for $145 a piece today. I'm going to rebuild the frontend and then throw on the wheels and tires. Hope to have it all done by SOP but who knows.

Here is a comparison of the shorter 275/45r20 I found in the barn to the 275/60r20 that came on the wheels.

Andy, I'm running 1.5" spacers....but when I do some reconfiguring in the future, I'll go with 2" units.

Well after talking to a few guys on Fb that tan these they say you don't need spacers just have to open the centers.
