8) Thanks for the link. I want to haul her to work so I can pull the cab off easier and drill my top trans crossmember bolt holes. Have no other ideas how to do it easy.

Well got her to my house and started tinkering. I think I'm going to ditch the heat exchanger and factory trans cooler and run my large aftermarket with fan. May add another large aftermarket later. Anybody have access to a D70 Drum right now? Wondering if I can make a 15" wheel fit over it for now. Thinking of putting my 70 under it and running 15" 8 lugs with old man hubcaps.

Well finally got the cooler line out of the trans that broke. Also have core support ready to come out and switch with the diesel one.

any more progress ,? sweet build!! good work

saw a holy grail of half tons in a yard 2 years ago, sat there for 3 years. it was a 93 D150 shortbed reg. cab LE , silver/red with grey interior. fully loaded, 318 magnum, body was pristine.

I asked the guy if he'd sell it, he told me he wanted $900 for it (needed a trans) , went back 3 days later with trailer and someone else had bought it, after it sat there for 3 years!!! 3 minutes from my house. it would have been the best 1/2 ton shortbed conversion ever , a fully loaded 93. pisses me of thinking about it, should have paid him on the spot

Been messing a bit on it. I have to get her on the road now though since I sold my Daily Driver. Have to pull the bed off and cab back to get crossmember holes drilled. Then I can button it all back together.

Well pulled the bed and cab off yesterday and drilled all bolt holes for crossmember I needed. We put the bed and cab back on. Today I put the nose most of the way back on it. I can't get the 84 Grille on it with the A/C and intercooler on it so I just stuck my 93 grille on it. Trying to get her road worthy so I can start driving her.

Make a little more progress each night. Windshield lip wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be.

Can't wait for the final product!

My new dream truck is a regular cab C&C dually with a 10ft bed, 2wd, 5spd. Long and low!

I wonder what the mileage is with a RCSB...

I've found so much hacked up and half ass stuff it scared me. The rod for the brake and clutch was hanging halfway out.

I'm going to order some 15x10 8 lug white spoke wagon wheels and throw on my hubcaps so unless you know what I've done or looking at under there it shouldn't be noticeable.

Ok so I hit a wall tonight. I've changed all the wiring harness in the truck to the 93 harness. I threw the steering colum in tonight to see if anything worked but just left it laying down on the seat. The dash is still loose laying in the truck as well. So I make sure everything is hooked up and attach the battery. Turn the key and nothing. The only thing I don't have on it is the ground from the engine block to the frame. I checked the fuses with my multi meter and nothing. No headlights, no movement of any gauges nothing. The only thing that works is the 4 way flashers. Anybody got any ideas? There is an orange wire under the hood that I believe had a fusable link in it that's gone so I jumped the wires. Was agrevated so called it quits for the night. Everything is pluged in. The computer isn't mounted to the fender and I didn't put the abs box in it. Someone give me an idea.
