Either way, looks good. I noticed that you don't have steering column covers, do you need some? I can bring some to SOP if you want...

So Ive been fighting the urge to convert the duck to 4x4. I don't really know why I guess I'm just bored and need to tear it apart again lol.

Oh the trans hates me. Lol I was going to take my 47rh slip yoke and have a shaft made but apparently its different since it won't slide into the 518.

So I ate another one of those dam conversion joints today. I bought a cheap u-joint and used the caps to try and get bye. I don't know what's up with those dam caps splitting but the cheap ones I replace them with last.

I can hear that little brown truck screaming from here that it wants a 47RH.

That conversion joint is clear at the back isn't it? I'd think it'd be 1410 at the slip yoke and then 1410/???? at the axle. I just looked and found a 1410 yoke for the 9" doesn't exist which I think is strange.

Yeah its at the rear end. Its a 1410/1350 conversion joint. I was told by the company I got it from I just have to much power for them.

After using my brain a little I figured maybe I'll go to the junkyard and try to find a shaft out of a Ford to be modified to fit my truck.

I did that with the 82. I found the dodge shaft would slide over the Chevy stuff, but had some slop to it. The slop I took out by wrapping the Chevy shaft with 2" wide electrical tape every 4" down the length of it,then slid it inside the dodge shaft. I cut both shafts really long so I knew that would keep them straight, lined up the yoke ears, and welded it out. The few times I've driven it(up to 60mph) it didn't vibrate.
