I rode with Philip, his G56 shifts like a big truck trans, it actually goes "clunk" when it drops in gear. Maybe it could be shifted fast, but I doubt it. I didn't drive it so I don't know for sure.

nv5600 are like that too...not quite as bad, but they have that "click" feel when you put them in and there isn't really much forcing that it is gonna allow. I honestly think you'd snap the shifter off before you could force it in gear faster than it wants to let you in gear.

Funny story... I have a zf6 shifter that ineed to reweld laying out in the shop. They broke it off right where one of the bolts go that hold it onto the shifter stem that sticks out of the top of the transmission. Looks like they broke it off slamming into one of the gears that require movement towards the dash.
