Picked up my motor tonight it gets to spend the night in the trees due to unexpected tractor problems I hate it when stuff you take for granted bites you in the ass

It only gets used by my grandpa so he knows all the little tricks to it it's a 40s case I drained a bunch of crap out of the carb filled it with gas and he came over to run it, the system is 6v and the battery is 12 so you have to f with the thing to get the starter to kick out...the front end was floating with the engine on the hook even with 300 pounds of me standing on it (the front that is)

RC is making 414hp on ic flow honed injectors... the record breaking hp for non ic was 415or 416hp... its doable for sure .... idk if that recored for the non ic injectors were flow honed also... fyi

I'll most likely end up ditching them for 5x16s or equivalent after I get the truck going I'm trying to stay in budget while it isnt drivable I'll add later as i go

So I opened the ip up yesterday was kinda disappointed the fuel pin was already turned but the diaphram was detached from the pin

nut and washer still there just chillen tho anyways is there any way to tell how much the star wheel has been turned already? I didnt want to turn it 1.5 if it already had been?

It doesn't matter how far it has been turned, it's a tuning device, you turn it to where you get the best results. If you step on it and it smokes like a pig, turn the starwheel up a turn or 2 until it smokes less or you get it where you want it. If it's all the way down it will go full fuel at 10-15 psi of boost. Starwheel up higher it takes more boost before it lets it fuel.

that Makes a little more sense I turned up my buddys pump on his 8.3 powered toter so I think I know enough to be dangerous now
