Well today I did get to test the starter haha. Cranked over well. I have the alternator on, belt installed, head torqued, valve lash set, injector lines painted and installed, 370 injectors installed with paper thin washers, timing set at 19*, hydraulic lines are custom made and installed for my off engine oil filter, throttle bracket setup fabricated and balancer installed. Engine is almost ready to start. I need power steering fluid, anti freeze, a shut down solenoid, filter head and a turbo. Well definitely have it running early next week! I snapped a picture of my throttle bracket setup. Turned out well and I drilled multiple holes in the bell crank to fine tune the travel and return rate.

Also thinking about running an aftercooler on top of the engine but not sure if I have any space.

Dad also got his cab painted and started assembly to replace the rusted cab on his Cummins M880.

Sounds great. Glad to hear it started and run with no problem. But pics aren't showing up?

Fixed it. Shelled out the $30 and forgetting about it!

Anyway, no pics but I plan to make a run around Tuesday to pick up my driveshaft, oil filter head and maybe a turbo. I finished the engine bay wiring with relays for the starter and shut down solenoid so I keep the load off the ignition switch. I don't like amperage in the interior area.

$30 for what? Photobucket? Or did I miss something?

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

$30/yr for unlimited bandwidth and 20gb of uploads. I'm good now... Probably only have to pay once because it's dependent on how much you use photobucket. I won't be using it much after this truck is done.

Ah, I see! I use it in spurts, 3 or 4 pics, then nothing for a few months.

Getting down to the nitty gritty now! Got my ignition switch wired, ground wires done, shut down solenoid wired with relays for it as well as the starter, alternator wiring done and everything wrapped together and cleaned up. Last night I was getting ready to put the AFC on the pump and noticed my rack is seized up again. Figured it would have to be rebuilt so I figured I'd try to free it up myself. I took each DV assembly out and marked the positioning as well as shim thickness so flow CCs are close and then cleaned out the pump and used a sharpie pen with 1000 grit paper to clean up the plunger barrels. Cleaned them really well and then lubed them with ATF. Rack moves better than it ever did now. Fuel lines are done and turbo is coming this weekend.
