Ive always wanted one of these.... and i finally found a ve 4bt... im going to tear it down more and rebuild the whole thing... new pistons, bearings, seals, new head so on and so forth... i have a adapter plate for a rag/518 and have a 2wd 518 and the plan is to put it all in a 99 gmc 1500 4x4... ill keep yall posted on the build ...

I had a super clean 83 W150 that was going to get a 4bt, NV4500. The intent was as a commuter, something to get decent mileage out of as a 4x4. Took an offer I couldn't refuse and sold it to a fellow that put a 6bt in it
