Yeah I robbed a boot from that 01's parts pile and fixed it up. Soon I'll start hammering on it but I still want to fool with the timing some before I go to hogging fuel to it.
I've been trying to wait on a response to my email I sent M&H about that spacer before I dig into it. Figure I might as well do that along with swapping spring and removing the shim.

What all did you have to do to run the VE pump on the 24v? What parts needed to be changed?

Was the truck that gave up the 24v an auto Ellis? I'm looking for a couple pieces and didn't know if you still had any of the stuff if it was an auto truck.

I'll have to look for the cable, the bracket I have but I was going to save the tps. Do you need the tps?

I don't know if there is a difference in the tps between manual or automatic. My bracket doesn't have the spot for a lockdown cable.

Any I've changed looked the same so I'd say your good. I'm in Tennessee right now but when I get back to the shop Monday I'll look for the cable.

Bad things are coming this things way......stand by for news

Just ordered a couple of parts for it and trying to figure out what kind of injectors/tips to use.

Don't know how big of an injector I want just yet. I'm thinking of some huge 5holers.....x14 or bigger, and adjust the pump to compensate for the lack of air the engine will have. The 12cm housing'ed hx35 will get a 60mm gds cold side and a rebuild. I've toyed with rebuilding an ht3b I have to throw in front, but it has the 26cm exhaust housing.....which I understand is huge. I just don't know how it'll work with the 24v in this light truck.
So far I've had no issues with this engine other than a fuel knock once it's up to temp(190). Cold it's 12v quite.....that has spooked me till the last month or so. It passed when I fixed a factory truck doing the same thing with a reman set of injectors.

I don't really care if this thing is a little smoky, just don't want to melt it down.

My plan is to put my honed 5x16's I got from Eric in The Roo Hunter though I'm matching that fuel with a 98lb/min charger on top of my ported hybrid, so I should have plenty of air to burn the fuel
