Paints engine Chevy orange => engine does not run well

Coincidence? I think not  Why would you do that to another engine?

And now there's two Richards

Yeah I'm thinking on keeping it black solely becuase of time. I have little interest in playing with it. I just want it to run.

I am grinding off that dodge stuff tho

I was worried about the dodge bit being embossed like the 1st, and 2nd gen covers, so I checked my 24v cover, and the letters can be ground off.

Oh....THAT orange. I wrongly assumed it was the correct orange. As in the Hemi variety. Corporation blue is also acceptable.

x3 on running poorly. That motor aint happy dressed up like that.

250k. Better than the last. I tore into it today....pulled the pan, side cover, valve cover, timing cover/case. It is mint inside and a bunch of cross hatch left in the cylinders. I'm very happy with its condition.

Jeff that's what I'm doing.....I bought a can of black for touch up.

Dman yeah I seen that today.....its coming off.

Well today,as mention above I tore the vp parts off and got the ve case swapped over. Also started fitting the pump to the enigne, grinding down the head to allow the pump to rotate to at least the factory ve timing marks. I had to do that just to have the throttle arm rotate without hitting. It will probably never get that far but if I have to i can, once the pumps in place the gear will be advanced one tooth so the pump position will likely be inbetween the mark and fully retarded.

Tomorrow will be a toss up....if it rains here I'll be working on the truck,if not then I'll be mowing grass.

If it is going like Levi's thread, butthurt. Not because of internet bullying either.
