Well chop chop, and takes pictures. As the banner that's available on some forums says (which I'm too lazy to look for). This thread is useless without pics

Went ahead and did the deed this morning.
Dman here's your pic

I found a screw up I did.

Mashed the ground lug for the grid plate in between the air horn and grid body.

Doh!

Results of the injectors.....lots of power....too much for the converter.

It'll definitely have the convertor locked in second or third if I run it.

I didn't try it sitting still,I'm scared for the 10bolt,so I figured I'd mash on the go pedal rolling. It was all rpm rise and falling fuel psi with the converter unlocked. I tried it again locking it up in third and it did much better. The little 30psi vdo boost gauge was pegged out to.....I'd have to guess I'm around 35 or so lbs at wide open throttle.

Theres a way different feel to the truck.....almost little car like, nimble. I like :)

These injectors have found a permanent home 8)

Yep bottom of the barrel. Transtar rebuilt. It does have a bunch of miles on it tho, general truck use.

I need to find a one someone is getting rid of cheap. Cheapest thing I have found is around 800$

Have you checked with DPC? They do/did sell rebuilt convertors for decent money.

First I've heard of them Andy. I think I may call them up tho. I had thought about calling ptc and seeing if they'd rebuild this one since it already has the cover on it. Idk

I'd like to see you stand flat footed and reach to the back injector....loosen it while holding the lines off of it. I bet money you'd use a crate too

Yeah I'm short(5'9") what about it,that makes me closer to what counts.....on yo mama

Ellis DPC is about the best converter builder around. His converters are running in the fastest and highest HP trucks around. I'll be buying one for one of these transmissions I have laying around.
