Well if it has that many miles a new one may help

If that is the case, Seth Farrell in Kansas City MS rebuild a ton of P-pumps. Everyone who has sent a pump to him loves what he does with a rebuild.

Farrell Diesel service is the name IIRC. He is on CompD and has his prices on there.

Jon i don't think there's anything wrong with the injection pump.....yet. I mostly think it's been starved for fuel since I've been involved with it in the original truck. The motor always ran good,it was just weak feeling. The original owner and I thought it was the miles( he bought it at 280 something) and just let it slide. It was only after it was put in the chevy did I start digging, and with this gauge i think I've got it wipped.
Even with the weirdo psi,it's a whole diff animal. Not dmax worthy, but at least it'll keep up with my dodge and then some.
If by some chance I rack the barrels and have one of those horror stories I've read,I may look him up.
Dman,I'm sure it will

Fords are notoriously fat. Kind of rare to find one that's sub 4 ton. So really it's like a human hair vs. a pregnant elephant

When 6.0s run, they run great. And then there's the other 90% of the time...

No doubt Caleb, the one I fixed up was a boy dog for the miles that was on it. I just managed to snag a 90%er.

It was probably running on 6, that would explain why you beat it.

Yeah Pete Ellis' truck was running on 6. Which really any more cylinders than that is just excessive and pointless.

Tork tek valve and cheapo pump. What I want to know is what happened to the fancy finish that valve had in its advertisement. This thing was 55$ shipped,it could have at least looked expensive
