Getting the engine mounts changed out
I mashed the fire out of it

Lots o difference in between the two

The side effect of this is now my trans is hanging lower :( and throwing the angle of my drive shaft even farther out of whack. Fixing to deal with that now.

Changing the mud in the diff? Being a mechanic and all I would have thought you checked that before you started driving it? ;)

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

See, if I did that, I'd be very proud of my craftsmanship because I didn't take the torch to it. It's not like we don't have a chop saw, but the torch is always two steps closer.

I guess condensation got in there,it never has moved since doing the service.

Just got done with the ride to the house in it....totally different truck. The sound, ride, and take off are totally different. I'm liking it. :)

Got my adjustable pressure switches rigged up,it shifts like I want now. In O/D by 45mph and in L/U by 55. I want it to shift like that so I can still ride around town in OD at around 1200 or so rpms while holding off the lockup.

So far it's doing really well, and I don't have to fool around with a switch 8)

Another piece of the puzzle that is my truck. A 26 tooth gear to correct my speeder meter :)

Well! Should've bought the 29 tooth for 3:08's,the 26 is like 5 mph faster than your running. Luckily I had a reduction gear saved from the gas set up out of this truck,it has the speeder meter dead nuts on. :)

Got a rear bumper installed finally, threw on some junk I had laying around. Really just wanted to see what it looked like.

It follows the contour of the bed pretty good

Wish I could find a drop step :(

I bought the 8" drop on mine for $40 at an auction. Beats the hell out of the ones I see on Craigslist for $150 that have rust holes and peeling chrome.

Are you that short or fat or lazy that you can't climb up on that low truck? I think it looks good on there. Now you need to take some brake cleaner and clean the paint off the tag before the cops get you. You shoulda put some cardboard over it. ;)
