1 more than your skin can handle.

In all seriousness.... you are preaching to the choir about fiberglass. I have completely rebuilt 2 fiberglass boats in my day and the smell of fiberglass resin alone makes me itchy... no joke.

Idk how folks do it for a living, the sence of touch in their skin has to be numb,or totally gone! :)
And fixing a boat.......talk about double misery. A boat is satan spawn to begin with, mix in finely ground pieces of fiberglass in your skin and you have the gift from hell that keeps on giving

36grit on a DA ate it down pretty fast. I wouldn't want to sand a large area tho.

Oh and made contact with Alex (Ahale) and picked his brain on the fuel psi thing.
He said
ith 160's, they cant get enough supply pressure. Their cams have a super small window of fill time because they are a D shaped lobe (the plunger is constantly up, then strokes down to fill, then back up to fire). I ran ~80psi from a fass whenever I ran a 160 cam, with noticeable power drop if anything was lower than 50psi.

I think once this pods done and I have a gauge to look at,I'm trying it.

Again though Ellis.... it depends on the setup. One is not going to make more power at 80 psi with stock injectors over 50 psi.

True and I won't try it. But however,50 psi as is couldn't hurt. I doubt I'll need anything more than that anyhow. Even with the 7x10 tips.

Almost done! 8)
Image

I painted the top of it silver like the first outside of the truck,I thought it would look better than that terrible blue that the interior paint stuff produces. I like it better than the blue but Idk,I don't care for painted interior pieces.

Eventually I'm stretching tweed over the dash and door panels, this thing will get the same treatment I think :)

Thanks Eric! :)

You didn't learn the 1st time around? 60 psi boost gauge! The pyro should be good for a long time though.
pete

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

I know Pete,this one was cheap ;-)
I don't care for the pyro,it doesn't use any power wire. Somehow the temp probe make voltage and cuases it to move. It kind of screwy.
