IDK.....some looks good....some not so much. I just want something different, like the truck.

There are no pillar pods or Column mounted.....nothing really. This truck might be harder to find decent pods for than our dodges. Hell I made one work on the dash of my truck from a newer application, guess I could do it on this thing.

You could use a bread pan like Bryan Moeller did. ;) How about a pillar pod for a 1st gen? Not close to fitting?

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

I vote for the wood faced one you build. Match everything but the bezel of it to the dash color. I also vote for it to be mounted on the dash if that wasn't implied

I did some running around mobile this morning, hitting up the wreaking yards for pieces and parts. I pulled up to the last one and looked under the truck to find a huge puddle of oil,so I popped the hood

Mother freaker
I put "new" gaskets on this thing to keep schit like this from happening. Took two gallons of oil to get back to the shop, approximately 35miles. That's 30 bucks gone plus the aggravation of getting it fixed.....damn.

What am I seeing, did I'd blow out of the bottom of the tappet cover?

Red rubber gasket, protruding form the tappet cover. Look between the two fuel lines.

Fuel heater/strainer.
Reckon why this happened anyhow. I did stab the throttle a couple of times, surly this thing ain't building that kind of crankcase pressure.

None of us could find it because your oil isn't pitch black like ours.

I'd try a little gasket-tack on it myself, I never put anything together without it anymore. I only use it on one side of the gasket, and that's whatever side comes off with a part so I can clean it off easily when I need to.

What's up with losing 2 gallons of oil through a non-pressurized gasket leak?

Are you sure your vent isn't clogged? I can't see why it would have done this myself other then crazy amounts of pressure buildup.

I used that 3m weather striping adhesive stuff last time, always do. That's why this is puzzling me.

Levi I reckon it's the 70lbs of oil pressure that motor produces, other than that idk.
