Ellis, do your boobs bounce like that when you dance?

That self exciting regulator may be the hot ticket for guys who are having problems with their regulators or PCMs. You may want to post more info in a new thread if it works good. ;)

Aw schit. :X
I've searched and searched thru countless swap treads and have yet to find a decent install pic or at least a decent description.

I got time.....I'll just wing it :(

Jon,I have thought about that but I think I have absolutely zero chance of finding one around here :(

Anyone have a thought on using two 12" electric fans to cool this thing with? It won't be towing but may have the occasional romp section to contend with.

I think you will be fine with the electric fans. I plan to put them on mine.

Started cutting on the frame to fit the a/c in

Added some flat bar in on that chicken crap crossmember to stiffen it backup after thining it down

Everything is real close

I'm in the middle of fitting the rad and cooler/AC condenser assembly in the core support. It's not fitting :( it'll be cut to hell before I'm done with it.
Fan will not be used either....theres about 1/4" between the rad core and fan clutch, too close for my liking.

I did get my alt back today....the reg and new pulley (old had 7groove instead of 8) cost me 62$. It is charging at 14.5v and puts out 135amps. That ought to work
As promised...pics and part number

Dude told me that the brand name was register and that's his scribble on the paper so....take it for what it's worth.

Is that the number of the regulator widget? I see a number on the alternator, it's a World Class #14430.

Well I just finished butchering the core support,I had to cut the whole center section out of it to make the cooler fit :|

Got it fit in all nice and neat then the rad was slid in place, then me and the brother sat the hood on the truck. Yeah,I can't slide a number 2 pencil in between the rad cap and the hood skin. Things are gonna be tight there :/
