Did you slide the AFC housing forward as well as the plate? If the AFC housing is back too far, you can actually LOSE power, even if the plate is slid full forward, and/or ground.

Don't waste the money on delivery valves, unless pulling out a set of 131s. Then, I'd only get the 181s. The 191s just mainly add a lot of smoke and higher EGTs, and no power.

A 97 Ram auto p-pump is 14* timing stock. Put mine to 16.25*. Dropped EGTs 150* and really brought on the low-end kick! :D A bit more smoke, but not bad. MUCH improved throttle response.

I'd put an ATS 3-piece exhaust manifold on it as well. The stockers like to shrink. Lowered the peak EGTs by 50* and lowered the peak boost by 5psi. Anything to remove a restriction on the air going in, or coming out will help. I prefer to do airflow improvements, before adding fuel.

Bryan, did yours drone at 16.25*? Did it have a muffler on it?

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

I think I know why this thing was a turd now. :D

The damn strainer in the tank was packed full of trash......I found that trying to scavenge fuel out of the tank, only flowed after I blew shop air thru the supply line.

IMO

16 degrees timing, number 10 fuel plate, one turn on gov springs (turboram) and call it a day.

Put an s300g on that thing and it'll blow the doors off your 93......

If I can make this thing run with/better than a lightning,I'll be happy as a puppy with two peters....not the toombs kind
There's some punk rich (da da's money) kid that I'm wanting to spank 8) .

Eric I might just swap turbos around with the dodge for the time being,I am not dropping a 1k plus turbo on a questionable motor
