So I have a 91 w250 4x4 5 speed manual chassis and a 84 d150 cab/bed I'm puting on the 91 chassis. 84 cab is mechanical and 91 chassis is electric.... What can I do??? I don't want to use the 91 gauge cluster cuz it doesn't look like the 84

The electric sender just bolts onto the mechanical drive gear in the t-case. Get a speedo cable that will reach and you should be fine. You may need to change the speedo gears in the t-case though.

Is this eccentric located in the gauge or down on the transfer? I've been putting some thought into this as well since I'm doing the same thing, only the opposite. electric sender to mechanical gauge.

I'm hoping the 3.07 reducer is separate from the electronic part. =/

Goes in the case, sensor comes out eccentric goes in, there is a mark on the case you match to the gear your using.
