I did the sob wouldn't come out. I put a 2x4 in the hole where the E-brake was mounted to drive it out the front. It took 40 minutes of beating to get it out. I pulled the 5speed one out of my blue cab in about 30 seconds. I pulled its cover and it slid right out.

Lol we all have those days. I've pulled many computers out of these style trucks and never seen some like this. I scrapped salt off of the outside of the case.

So while I wait for my spring hanger and shackle to show for the dump I been going through and cleaning my Ford parts box up. Got rid of a bunch, but still have too much. There is still two cabs and a frame in the barn.

Did you go through Ford for the parts? Dad had his rear most hangers and shackles go bad recently.

No I ordered the Dorman part first go around and it wouldn't work on mine. Im ordering the other tomorrow from a guy on FTE. Ford wanted $98 just for the hanger. The Dorman kit will work on his and is under $50 on Amazon.

I don't know what he ended up with. He just took it to his mechanic without mentioning it to me.

I'd have replaced all four, but that didn't happen for whatever reason.

The only bad one on mine is the driver side rear. The rest are solid.

So I seem to have the PSD running halfway decent. We have everything working as it should and I got rid of my horrific vibration I had over the weekend. I posted it on craigslist to see if I can make some cash and sell it. Dad got tired of looking at it and cleaned it today after we got in a big fight. It cleans up alright for a 18 year old plow/salt truck.

So I sold the pos Power stroke, bought the gasser engine and stuff for the Dodge so the Ford will get the Cummins. I picked up a Dana 60 front end this morning for $85. It needs a spindle and the driver side axle shafts. I have lockouts and stuff for it already.

So went back out to get the track bar I didn't have the tools to get yesterday. I pulled the rear end cover off and found a nice limited slip carrier. Also got the ring and pinion with it all for $58. After the problems with dads truck last year I collect these.

Well today I went and helped a buddy pull his parts truck apart some more and picked up the 47rh, 241DHD, adapter plate, starter, and driveshafts I bought off of him for the crew. Guyhe got it from said the trans was fresh and I believe it. Fluid looks like it was just put in and it has a blue billet cover converter in it.

Thought you were going manual transmission with that one?
