Engine mount upgrade?

Postby grinnergetter » Sun Jan 26, 2014 8:15 pm

I have both sets...1st and 2nd gen. Can anyone tell me if the 2nd are that much better or have you had any issues with the 1st gen style?

Using the 2nd gens at this point will move the engine back about an additional 1.75 possibly causing some firewall mods along with exhaust issues. Trying to decide which way to go.

Thanks, Grin

What are you doing with it? There's a set of poly engine mounts that are 1stgen style, match them up with poly trans mounts and things are in there pretty solid. That's what I've got, and for a DD it's completely unnecessary. The trans mounts are cheap enough, but the engine mounts are $100 or so. :?
