H1C output orientation ?

Postby jethro » Sat Jul 18, 2015 10:23 pm

2004 F-350- using stock H1C with 18 mm housing-
Also using the stock ford intercooler.
I have rotated the H1C housing around to see which way looks like it might work.
I will have to put an elbow on the end to get it turned forward..... ( I think the elbow I have is off the
93 cummins and the H1C)

I want to go low so the pipe is just above the frame rails- but the water box doesn't allow the elbow room.
appears that the only clock position that it can go with the elbow I have is about 11 O-Clock.
If I could go low I would have an all most straight run into the intercooler input.
But Unless I can find a much tighter bend elbow- I will have to go high and do snaking about half way to get back
down to the intercooler level (about half way up the water radiator )

Anyone done this and remember if there was only 1 possible position for the turbo housing ?
