I think he means the leg the 2nd gen 12v's have that the 2nd gen 24v's don't. The one I have that I'm smoothing out was from a 94, so had a "leg" that goes down to the intake plate for some arbitrary reason. I cut it off for aesthetics, and am in the process of smoothing it before I hit it with paint.

Got alittle done on the crew cab tonight. last rear door panel, sun visors and passanger side toe kick panel got dyed. When i pulled the door panel out i looked at the dash and didnt like it. There were a few thin spots on it. So i re dyed it. Not sure it a s a good idea. Ill find out when it dryes all the way. I also took the heater box apart and cleaned it all out and replaced the heater core. Slowly but surely.

Well i decided instead of goin home after 11 hrs of work and sittin on my butt i should work on the crew cab. Factory sound deadening pad installed, heater box put back in . I removed the acces panels at the front of the rocker panels. Cleaned out the little bit debris in the rockers, sprayed some under coat on there and sealed them back up. Then spayed the bottom of the floor boards with under coating then painted the master cylinder. Also hung the petals. Tomorrow ill cut in the firewall piece fort the clutch master cylinder and wiring harness.

My dad came up today and gave me a hand for a few hrs. I cut out and replaced the firewall panel for my 5 speed truck. Master cylinder, clutch master cylinder and brake booster installed. Re sealed the end of the steering box and rebuild the steering joint. Shot a coat of paint on the fire wall and core support. Then test fit a frint fender to make sure everything looked good. My dad started removing the ageing seem sealer, which turned out to be house caulking. It did help keep the moisture out but not all of it.so we doug out all the old seam sealer then but a rust converter on the rain gutters. There was some areas of surface rust so this should solve that. My seam sealer shows up on Tuesday then i can d.a. and prine the roof.

Step flanged the firewall to make a nice smoth transition between the 2 pieces.

Well its been a while! Haven't had much time to work on the crew cab. But i sold my rat rod today. Now its goin off to paint! Sad to sell the car but super excited to get workin on this old girl again! I also built a 51 chevy truck rollimg chassi for a guy. Mustang ii front end, 8m8 rear with 4 link and bags on all 4 corners. That will pay for my compound set up and a bunch of other parts! Also picked up a full set of 96 suburban seats and belts. They look like they haven't had many miles on them. Hope to get those mounted up before it leaves for paint.pics to come!!

It's looking good man. I'm a little curious why you're keeping the stock fuel feed setup. I've been very pleased with my sump, -8 line setup aside from the actual hose material (don't really like the blue, or how I routed it in one spot.)

My own setup is a Hellman sump running into a raptor 100 lift pump, into a universal dual filter setup with fleetguard filters, through my fuel pressure sender, then into my ip. My return side is still stock though. Currently I'm seeing 18psi at idle, and 15 at wot.

Got the front 2 seats installed. Went in really nice. The driver side is all power. Kinda nice, almost spoiled. Passanger side is just lumbar.
