Rolled on and put it to the board. Broke traction when the boost spiked to 30 psi

Nice!!!!! Renews faith in the VE. After my friend got injectors and a 66mm for his OBS, it would brake loose at a 25 roll. This is good

Are the aftermarket bodies available from THD DAP's?

I know it. Exciting to see how well it runs with stock injectors. Can't wait to go bigger.

Yes they are through thd.

You going to take 3 or 4 turns out of the screw when the new sticks go in? So you get a reference point?

Sounds like I'll have to , to keep smoke and egts down with the single charger.

Itd be nice to dyno now to get a baseline.

I'm curious to see how many turns you'll have to take out with the new sticks to run the same as the stock sticks with the pump maxed

Started on the gauge pod. Have boost and drive pressure. Egt on its way. Think I'll add fuel pressure eventually.

Really didn't like how the pod looked on top of the dash. So I abandoned that and mounted them in the dash.

Powerwagon, did you have any real issues putting the cummins in that truck? Friend of mine bought a '78 club cab he is going to put a 5.9 and NV4500 into so I thought I'd ask.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

Engine bolts in. Trans mount may have to be modified, mine did. Had to slot the mounting holes. Driveshafts need modified.

I used the 93 core support so I could use the 93 radiator and intercooler. There are 4 tabs on the 79 for the lower fender/grill valance that I cut off and welded to the 93 cs.

Wiring is pretty simple.

You do need to make sure the front leaf packs are up to the task. This truck had six leaf packs and it's holding up pretty well. 3/4 ton axles are ideal.

These old trucks really don't have any sound deadening so that's something to consider also.

I also hear that the 1/2 frame may not be strong enough especially if your putting a good amount of power down. Mine seems to be holding up well, but boxing it and building heavier x-members isn't a bad idea.

I'll run mine hard til it breaks.
