Looking good. It's nice that Dodge never changed the front cross member or anything when they put the cummins motor in the 1st Gen trucks.....makes dropping one in anything 1980-93 pretty darn easy.

I hope to be building my Cummins RC next year as well...but will have to see how things go. Have to build a shop next year, and that is a tad more important then the re-power. ;)

Slight update on my project. I procrastinated so long on spending the coin on a low-stall converter for that a518, that I stumbled over a good Getrag/205 combo. Got everything I need for the swap and since the Ramcharger was originally a hydraulic-clutched 4-gear, the Getrag swap should go as easily as the Cummins itself did. I've never been a fan of automatics (at least not transmissions! ), so this 5-speed find makes me happy!
1987 Dodge RamCharger, 1-ton axles, 4-inch suspension lift, 35's and soon to be, a 1993 5.9L CDT / Getrag 360 / NP-205 combo.
