92 cummins into 97 3500 v10

will the cummins bolt up to the auto trans in 97 3500? yea big project but got the chance to get 97 3500 dually in good shape but with dead v10 in itand my 92 runns great but body is ratty and its only 2wd the dually is 4x4 the only problem is then i would be a second gen

the v 10 uses a different converter in the trans along with a few other different internals that can be changed. For the engine mounts you will just need to buy some factory secong gen mounts and bolt them to your engine. If you 92 is an auto it will bolt up but if not you will need a different bellhousing adapter and a flex plate

I had a 01 v-10 and the tranny took a dump, i got a good deal on a cummins transmisson, all i had to change over was the wiring harness for the valve body and torque converter it worked great, the difference between the two trans are that the cummins has extra clutches
