I didn't see the date on your first post :oops: , that was almost a year ago :lol: .
I came real close to buyin a chevy with a 6.5 in it, I love the body style and I've always liked chevy's, but I am sooooooo glad I got a cummins instead.
Sold 91 now-intercooled W250, 388WHP 923WTQ on #2 only 423WHP 968WTQ on meth 0% correction.

No problem. The truck is a decent enough truck, but the motor has given him some grief. The first thing his neighbor said to me when I was talking about him buying the truck was "I wish he'd have asked me about it first." That neighbor has been a diesel mechanic for 20 years. My dad wasn't even looking for a diesel at the time, he was going to get a truck with a 350 in it. Oh well, live and learn.
1992 W250, 300k, Getrag, BHAF, 4" exhaust, DDP fuel pin, Isspro gauges, +3 on the fuel screw, 3200rpm gov. spring, 16cm^2 housing

I know this is a really old thread, but does anyone know what that bracket he's using for the alternator is originally for? Where to get one? When I click on his username to leave a pm it doesn't seem to go anywhere.

I was going to make a bracket exactly like that. But if I buy it reasonably....

Will this work? It mounts to the top of the head on that side, I have 2 of them I'd like to get rid of.
