91 1/2 conversion into 73 Ford 3500 Pvan

I have swapped the engine and auto transmission out a 1991-1/2 R2500 into a 1973 Ford 3500 P Van (Brade Truck). The swap was pretty straight forward. Can someone tell me how to hook- up the overdrive. I think that all I have to do is run 12V to the overdrive connector on the transmission and use a normally closed switch to active overdrive.
