Never leaving things alone is key to the manufacturer's differences in the auto industry.
If they could, you'd probably see some really interesting 1 of stuff on the road, but between the EPA and safety regs, insurance and liability laws, we don't get to see the most interesting things they come up with.

Thanks for the progress report, Raymo!

I should do an update myself.

Mark.

Thanks for the words Mark! I'm very happy with that 10lb box of nuts by the way

I think my biggest problem isn't my truck tho, it's working on all these other vehicles! I tell ya, in these tough times, us "shadetree mechanics" sure do have our hands full. Oh well, bills are paid and my truck keeps soaking up the excess. (When I'll actually see where that money went, I'll never know lol)

Well not much for new updates, I got a 4:10 ring and pinion for the 80 (thanks KTA) and some SWEET mirrors for the doors lol. Snow is coming so I'll be rollin the chassis back into the garage today.

Heres an old pic from when I brought my old P-pump donor home, for gits and shiggles.

like your work so far... I have a 95 3500hd that I am doing a cummins swap on.. some stuff to help...

the 10lug front hubs/adapters to run the 19.5 wheels can be bought.. or found,, all 3500hd 4x4 's had them and so did the early ford f450 4x4's... the fords will have to have the wheel register machined down. 19.5 tires are the only way to go... same price as good 16's and last forever.. and good recaps are less than 150 each...

use a first gen dodge fan drive and pulley it moves the fan up and back an inch or more...

on what you have into this project...dam!!!!! I thought I was cheep.. 300$ for a front dana 60...that was a smoking deal......

BTW I beat you on the dana 80... I just bought one with 3.54 gears out of a dodge for 100$...
