442K, upper and lower XRF balljoints are in the mail, as well as a new starter. Changed heater motor/resistor 438K. Going to see if I can make some homemade/"add to" spring isolator extender to add about 2" height, which leaves me 2.5" before topping out suspension. Any higher and upper balljoint angles start looking kinda ugly. Hopefully get some extra metal welded onto the caliper brackets to get a tighter fit. Ordering monomax shocks next payday. Going to stuff 285's in the front if I have to sawzall them in there, fenders are rusting anyway, and fiberglass fenders are pretty cheap and will be going on eventually. Going to be relocating the batteries to the rear for better traction and weight distribution. Jacked up the rear yesterday so the axle was at full droop and washed the leaf springs, WD-40'd and oiled them. Also made some plastic sliders with an empty oil jug, and put 6 on each side where springs were rubbing (or not rubbing) the most. I can get about another 2" of downtravel out of it now jumping on the rear bumper, and soaks up bumps nicer now. Coil springs would be nice, maybe I'll make some leather spring wraps like the model T's had lol.

Balljoints showed up, they look nice. Having some delivery issues with UPS and the starter, hopefully straightened out tomorrow. Bumpstarting it is getting a little old. I'm going to go with stiffer springs instead of spacers to get a little more height, as it hits the bumpstops pretty easily. I know I sure liked the 5716's I had in my d250, hopefully these have a similar effect. Probably go with something a little softer than the monomax shocks as well.

Wow, I feel like a high roller with having electric start again finally, after 2 months of pushstarting. Upper control arms were too stretched out to properly fit the new bj's, had to buy new upper control arms. These have snap ring balljoints, unfortunately cheap non-greasable ones. The truck rides much better with new upper arms, the bushings were pretty beat down in the old arms anyway. Changed front brake pads as well. Changed oil 5w40, 445 540 kms, 03/11/17.
