Yep it is molded into the bottom of the tank also the lowest point.

And the module doesn't restrict it at all? It does sit on the bottom of the tank.
I am going to do mine and decided to put it in the back section to keep away from the module.

This sump sits flush with the inside bottom of the tank the module doesnt quite come all the way down to it. It stops about 1/2 above the sump inlet on an empty tank module all the way down.

It "floats" so as long as there is fuel in it.

I put the Hellman sump I have in the same spot and have had no problems. Even when I've run it down to about a quarter of a tank or less.

I thought the module went all the way to the bottom. I guess I was thinking again! If that's the case I may put mine in the flat spot too.

I never measured to see how close the module was to the bottom of the tank, but it does seem to work fine.

When i cut mine out the module didnt touch bottom and the grooves cut into the "half moons" of the sump will still let it flow now i did find my anti siphon check ball rolling around i can only guess that it was getting stuck underneath the module at times

I don't see a lift pump in your mod list. The 18mph and 2 sec difference between the 1/8 and 1/4 seems to indicate a lack of fuel in the top end.
