The low end gain, should still out benefit the slight high end loss. I say slight - because, I feel once you get it dialed in, it won't be all that much.

Also, it will allow you to use MUCH larger injectors and still have cleanliness.

Sounds like you need a bypass to open after the super is done allowing the turbo to pull more fresh air.

RC, I'm thinking more like a little more timing. I've got 155* 5x14's so I may need to narrow them somehow to keep it in the bowls. I'm happy with the fuel I've got, there's no reason to go bigger. If I can ultimately end up completely cleaning them up then I'll be a happy man. 8)

Yup, I'm gonna give the little 1 1/2" one a shot that's on there but I also bought a 98mm LS1 throttle body off Ebay. It's 4" OD so it'll match my intake piping.

I figure I'll be sealing the small bypass and using its actuator to run the TB. Not now though, now in just gonna run it. And enjoy.

The only way my truck would be slower than Hiney's right now is if you set it on jack stands that we're welded to te floor. :P

If you can weld jack stands to the floor your one heck of a welder lol.....unless your floor is a slab of steel. and do you really need to anchor the stands?? you need power to knock the truck off stands

Taco - 5x14 will get you pretty much anywhere you need power wise. If you do every outgrow them, extrude hone them and they'll be more fuel than you'll be able to handle, even if you put down a new record.

being a non I/c truck..........you won't need to worry about spraying outside the bowl.

Heh, I'm not out to set any records. I'm more interested in a good sounding/driving truck than I am one that makes big numbers sitting still.

I've got a pic of one of my pistons with the head off, I'll find it tonight, and it's already shooting right to the edge of te bowls IMO. I'll post it up later for further inspection.

Clear back on page 18 when I did a cam swap. How in the hell are we at 122 pages now?

Something f'ed up. You shouldn't be spraying outside the bowl at 1/8" bump. You sure someone didn't swap in I/c pistons when you weren't looking?

As far as I know, that engine had never been apart before I got my grubby paws on it.

What are the standard spray angles available for 5-hole nozzles? They may be a wider setup than 155* or something, who knows.

You've got marine pistons (looks that way to me anyways).

155 and 145 are your options. There's others out there, but that would be as rare as finding a p pumped 1st gen straight from the factory,

I wonder if your injectors didn't seat down all the way? Thicker h/g by chance? Were all of the sprays similar between each cylinder?

I've got pics of most of the cylinders back on page 18, standard HG and the thinnest washers.

I'm going to start the crossover steering this afternoon, once it's on I can then start on my front airbags, all while tuning and tweaking on the blower setup. Gonna be a busy week. Again. 8)
