I'd settle for an in cab one. 4th gear pull just to see how the boost responds

Bumping my fuel back up a little bit to see what happens, figured I'd document pin travel with the star wheel flipped. You can see, there's around 3 threads showing above it and I've got the green/black spring.

Newb question..... What's the significance of the green/black spring? Heavier spring?

It's lighter compared to the silver/no color Non-IC ('89 only?) spring. I have the silver spring and it's a stiff SOB.

But not quite as light as the green/pink IIRC.

That's the one I have ,green/pink. Guess there's different springs for different year trucks?

Pretty much I think. Some people may know which spring was in which number pump, but I just thought they were stiffer in the non intercooled trucks and were weaker in the later ones. I could have sworn I've seen Bill post about this before. Maybe he'll share some knowledge. 8)

As far as I can tell, the green and black spring excels in its ability to make little girls ask questions.

One day spring and shackle swap?!?!?

I doubt it. Only chance is if my Chevy pack is the same thickness as the hybrid pack and a 3" block. :(

Little update...

I was going to document the differences between the truck and RC frames, since that's what this shackle kit is for. My phone would be completely out of memory at this point, I have no whAt? clue what is going on.

It all bolted up perfectly on the RC frame, but this truck is trying to pull the DS apart just bolting up the rear hangar. On one side.

I think I may just be bolting up these hangars and running the hybrid leaves for now.

Pffffft, ain't none of that quitter talk here. I bolted the other spring back to the axle, knocked my side back ~1", the started drilling holes.

It ain't looking good for the e-brake bracket, and one of the bed mounts on the driver's side is getting deleted, but other than that it doesn't look too bad. I'm about to throw the bed on and double check everything.

Probably gonna have to look into pulling a couple leaves, it sits nice but I can tell it's gonna ride bad. It moves about as much as the hybrid pack did when I bounce on it, but it wants to spring back to the original position while the hybrid would just stay down.

Some progress/daredevil work I have done. The wheel is centered back up, the one that's all wonky is the driver's side with my custom shackle flip. I'm thinking it'll pull the centered wheel forward about 1/8" when I kick the driver's side wheel back it's inch. We'll see.

Did you fix that funny spot that looked like a crack while you were in there? ;)
