A crane and one of those shamu lifting slings ought to do it. Better beef up those half ton springs on the rc!

I haven't touched the Dodge, I bought a 2ndgen IC to put in it but I've got to get the RC moving and out of the shop before I mess with it.

As for the rest of it, the only thing I spend more $$ on than diesel to drive my truck is grease for the lady. I would never put my love in the bed. :P

You fueled the thread in that direction just as hard as anyone else, Ellis, you can't complain about it now.

He's got a point there. That's why I'm usually ready to take a conversation as far as it'll go (I don't suspect I have any shame)

Whatever,I was poking fun about a pork-a- sauras being shoved in the cab of your truck. Not getting down with or where. Besides..............I don't do that where I eat :)

I still don't have an underhood harness, but I went ahead and prepped interior for everything. Got the cruise wheel and wiring started.

Here's the diesel (left) and gasser harnesses laid out. The diesel isn't as bad as it looks, it's got the ABS stuff towards the bottom and I hadn't found all the plugins to pull the door harness so it's still on there. Decently simple so far, we'll see what happens when I turn the key.

Grabbed this off CL, factory throttle body off an LS1. Oughta seal up much better than the Chinese TB I'm running now. Gotta get it hacked up to work with my actuator and all full of pipe plugs to cap all the gasser crap.

I sure hope that works for you. Is it a 90mm unit?

Nah, whatever the stock size is on an ls1. I got all the electronic stuff off of it, once I turn out some steel to bolt back over the holes this thing should be pretty airtight. I can't see a bit of light around the throttle blade. 8)

Right on. Iirc ls1's had 60 something, 70 something, and 90mm throttle bodies depending on application

Finally got around to making a torque arm. I cabbaged a bunch of stuff I had stashed away to redo my front end, so if that ever comes about I'll have to order more. It's all .250 wall square tubing, so it's heavy as hell. I already smashed the crap out of my finger with it.

It is currently awaiting finish welding from someone who can actually weld.

Some brand from the local spring shop, stock application for a 90's 3/4 ton Suburban.

I'm about to yank a leaf out of them and reset my shackle angle, that's why I figured it was best to et some support on this axle. It was still wrapping decently with those monsters on it.
