210 cfm stock... upgradeable to 310 in the future. No stock head is going to give those numbers.

If he bought the head, I think that S475 would spool like a stock 21cm H1C.

You bastards.

Just to spite you I'm getting my stock head fixed and putting it back on. Seriously, a local cat informed me that our valveseats are integral to the head and aren't able to fall out(Where were you guys at on that one? :P ), so I'm getting a valve job done for $130 and running it. I'll save for a Hamilton, but it'll take a lot of info gathering before I drop the cash on one.

LEVI JUST DO THE @!#$%!@# HEAD ALREADY. Ok I think im done for a while. But seriously do the head while you have the chance so you dont have to spend the money twice. You have already said she is down til spring so why not just do it the right way once instead of cobbling and then taking it back apart to do it right!

Current prices for Hamilton Cam's head as of 1/23/12:
Head with only oversize valves: $2900
Loaded head with beehive spring and titanium retainers: $3400.

Sorry guys, you'll have to live vicariously through someone else with this head, it's just not worth it for me right now. If it was closer to $2k I would have swung it but triple the price of a Cummins head just isn't worth it for my application...

I'll still squirrel away some cash for it, but it'll be a few years at least and probably longer as I'm needing to get a posi and start on some body work. :yuck:

Finally got up with Zach today. Naturally, they sold the last wide-lobe 12v 188/220 . . . two hours before I called. Won't have anymore until February.

So being a repeat customer running a bunch of his mess, he cut me a deal on a steel 188/220 (no bushings required) and 24v lifters. 8) I've already got his 110 springs and pushrods. I expect it'll be a bump up from the 181 I'm running.

Our heads have always had integral seats. It's covered well in the FSM:

A steel 188? KEWL 8)

Zach is a great guy to deal with. I'd like to run his pushrods at some point, I can't see how the difference in the 24v pushrod socket VS the 12v is any good, so I'll use that as an excuse to but them

I had not seen that. Yeah, he cut me a VERY good deal compared to that.

The 24v lifters are wider than our stock items. As such, they match the wider lobes of the new cam. The idea is to better support the loads running todays lube oils (low/no sulfur).
