Put back together with a solid rod in place of gov spring. No increase in fueling.
'03 2500: utility body stock; '92 350 flatbed: maxed fuel, 354 spring, 6x.016's, 14mm H/R, 2.8plate, studs, springs, A1000 5/8 line, Super40 = 454hp 1080tq all fuel. You said you've tried to index and re adjust the load screw both ways?

Did this achieve any different results?

On my pump I seem to have the most fuel by the simple way of taking the idle screw all the way out, then doing necessary measures to get it as low as possible (bending or mild grinding) and then gaining a high idle by the fuel screw. I've tried indexing and re adjusting and nothing seems to come close to the power, fuel control, and driveablility to like how I have it now. I also had to lengthen my screw ALLOT to get it to idle right.

Also, did you have a lpm flow rate on those injectors?

I know what you mean. I may try that today to get some back to back results. I do like the way it drives when set up like yours, I just assumed that because it results in less turns on the fuel screw that overall fueling would be less. We'll see. No, I don't know the lpm on these injectors. They're Russin's 6x16's should be bout the same as KTA had when he set the record. Also I put the 354 gov spring back in. I'm pulling tonight.

I would have a tendency to agree, don't get me wrong on that. Those are some pretty big sticks.

However, from personal "studying" of certain injector manufacturers I have found some pretty big dang sticks that don't flow crap because of a poor edm process. For example... My local guy has flowed 5x18 nozzles from some cheap places (under $250 for nozzles) and they only flowed 55lpm, when flowed back to back with ddp flow honed nozzles that flowed 53lpm on his machine that measured out to a rough 5x13. (these were all from a 2nd gen customer's truck and of course had a higher pop pressure, ect..)

I know nothing of the Buddha sticks.

I was just looking over what you responded to how I have my pump set up. I noticed that you said it results in less turns on the power screw as the way I have it turned up. I wonder if we had diff. stock indexing. I have mine as it was indexed stock. So I have the same full throttle sweep as it was stock. However, I have the full screw pushing on the fulcrum lever as far as the fulcrum lever can physically move inside of the pump. Where the fulcrum lever is held in place by the 3 sided bolts, below that is where the fulcrum lever actually hits the injection pump housing itself. So my fulcrum lever can't actually move any farther, so the only thing I could gain from by re indexing is more sweep of the throttle itself, which I noticed less fuel.... I believe due to the fact that I can't turn the fulcrum lever screw in as far when i re index.

Wow Ive not heard of being able to bottom out the fulcrum lever without going into run away. You should re index one line and see what happens. Keep a board handy ;)
