why do you think there is a need for 2 ck vlv's in same line?

I dont think it would be necassary. an extra safegaurd maybe.
no I dont have a pressure gauge installed at the case, these are just ideas that were bumping around in my head.

i think everyone that is above 350 hp ought to have a case pressure gauge

jmo

would be nice if we could all compare numbers for one, and what better place to know if you have fuel or not?

don

i am not suggesting to do away with supply pressure gauge

it would be simple enough to install

especially for the guys running the dual feed that are using the return for the 2nd inlet. just tee in to the supply line in what used to be the return side anywheres between ve and the check valve

for the guys that are still using the single factory supply it would mean removing the pump, drill and tap the left side, and get your reading there

the gauge would tell exactly what inlet pressure increases do to case pressure and will also be a good way to monitor the vane pumps performance and the affect of the ksb and the affect of the fuel screw and i think it would even be a tuning tool for those still running the afc

if i decide to stick with the ve i promise you i will have a ve case pressure gauge installed soon

what is the purpose of the check valve??? to keep case pressure from returning to the pump when pump is not running?

in this system it is to let the vane pump pressure over ride the elec pump pressure

so the case will see which ever is higher

it looked like the way meby was running the system that the pump would be off till a certain amount of boost so in that case it would keep case pressure from returning to the pump and when the pump was running it would let the ve receive which ever pressure is higher.

Thats basically the idea.

also, it would allow us to retain the stock fuel system for reliability. 2nd, it might be an answer to the problem of the vane pump not being able to keep up with demand of the highest hp ve trucks.
