Well, that was part of my point.... I have re indexed one line and can hit runaway, but I seem to lose some of the driveability and power seems to be less.

Oh, my indexing is on the 2nd index line. If counting from a counter clockwise direction 1-4... If that made sense, LOL.

more people really need to throw case pressure gauges on their trucks.

I was looking at putting a pressure gauge on my pump but the center of the FSS is all plastic and I didn't think it would up to the pressure. So did you just tap into the plastic? If you did did it hold up?

Interesting RC. mine was on that mark too. I'm now on the 1st mark.
My case pressure is tee'd off the original return line port.

Put a 3200rpm spring in It and a stock cam plate. Then turn your boost down so it is gated at about 60-65psi and watch you pick up 50+HP EASY.

My cam gear was out against the front cover and the intercooler was leaking. I have the stock camplate in a while now. Does the 4200 spring mess with the torque limiting feature on the fulcrum lever?

Ouch....that's how STOMP lost about 100hp on his....I guess it's about mine to check mine! I don't spin the rpm you guys do, so hopefully I am OK.

I'll try to post a pic, or at least describe where to look for the tell tale bump on the edge of the cover near a bolt hole. This saves the hassle of pulling the cover to check the gear.

The more I delve into the world of the p pump (p7100 and RQV-K governor),I realize what an engineering marvel the VE pump is. Fuel metering, VARIABLE timing, speed control, torque management, and cold start all in a unit so small.

Well, if you're still going p-pump, I hope someone can appreciate what your VE combo had to offer....I am thinking you were easy 600+rwhp without the excess friction
