I got good deals on an intercooler set up from a '94 (cooler, pipes, and horn) and an HX35. It was good for 274 hp and 503 lb-ft of torque (through a 727 auto) which is plenty for a 5300# farm truck. I'm pretty deal-driven.

In reality, the 7.3L cooler would handle more air, but the difference would not matter much at my level. Also, my HX35 has a 12cm exhaust housing that I love and the Super40 has a 16cm housing, which I think would be a bit laggy for my personal preferances.

Have you thought about the he351cw? It has the same compressor as the super 40 but with a small ex. housing like the 12cm2.

I have and I know everyone loves it. I've discovered my earlier fears are evidently unfounded, but this HX suits me and I'll stick with it until it lets me down. If it ain't broke, don't fix it ;)

Also the HE351 is wildly popular and the prices are insane in my opinion. Just another reason for me to keep what I have. My intercooler piping is set up for an HX frame charger too.
