I love my PS intercooler install. I got one with plastic tanks because it's what I could find in a hurry, and since it's already mounted, the aluminum tank one *should* just bolt right in. Anyway, I was able to get the condenser put in between the intercooler. Kinda like this
intercooler
A/C Condenser
pusher fan
Radiator
mechanical fan
This setup has a couple of advantages and a couple disadvantages.
Advantages:
intercooler is way up front where it gets the best cooling
looks awesome behind the grille
I fit a slim line fan in between the rad and A/C condenser in a pusher fashion with a thermostatic switch on it so it helps keep me cool in stop and go traffic.
Disadvantages:
Have to shorten the safety latch (oops)
short safety latch sucks to open the hood, forever more.
I'm happy with it, and the coolertubz p/s edition. You just need to add a couple 3" to 3 1/4" hump-type connectors and you've got tons extra breathing/cooling capacity.
