I am running that tachometer, I made my own wiring harness. It takes a little bit of patience and finness to get the fabbed leads into the oe socket, but it works. A quick search on here will net you a diagram on how to make one ;)

Do not buy the ISSPRO adapter. It's not needed in our application. Just get some 22awg and run the tach reference line directly to the trucks tach signal line found under the dash.

Isspro makes kits for trucks without the wiring, and I believe it comes with magnets you stick to the harmonic balancer or alternator. What year is the engine?

I got the moter out of a 85 F350 It's supposed to be a 92. The guy I bought it from said it had a stock tach too but he pulled it off it was mounted on the front of the timing cover where most motors have the oil fill mines just plugged now.
