M&H dynamic timing device question

Just found out about this dynamic timing device from m&h and was curious as to ur alls opinion on them do u turn the pump back to stock when u use these? And what exactly do they do

If you search you will see this has been discussed alot. The device works well and many different timing arrangements are used.
