the 5x20's were almost exactly the same size as the 6x18's

(1570 vs 1526)

did you notice any difference between the two?

There is about a 40hp diffrence best I recall, but that is not across the board. The 5 hole and 6 hole tips usually end up crossing on the power curve somewhere if you turn alot or rpms(4000). At stock rpms they would never cross.

i dont understand why...

you are saying the 6 hole makes more power down low, right?

On my truck the 6 hole is a flatter curve, but the 5 hole makes more peak power. On another truck the same injectors had diffrent power curves and the 6 holers made more peak power. Injectors respond diffrently to diffrent setups.

i just got my ddp stg 4's this afternoon

i guess the pods (or at least these old ones that i have) make more power than anything ov4er the counter huh?

kinda bummed

got to go fix that inj chart now and clear up the bogus info...

why would the pods make more than ddp4's?????
92 w250, NV4500, D80, maxed pump, AFC gone, extended fuel screw, more to come.

LOL, on the same dyno Josh did not match my lowly hp number. You can't compare numbers from different dyno's, you should know this by now mr. arm chair diesel guru :roll: . Plus my little 443hp number was with no intercooler. I've discovered my 3gal a minute water pump wasn't working enough, let alone big enough to start with, to circulate the ice water.
