Large injector lines

Postby ford69557ci » Mon Oct 29, 2007 9:01 am

I know the p pump guys run them and now the vp44 guys are runnin them. With the 14mm pump and some big injectors what would larger lines do? If not better performance would it atleast give that killer idle that the big line p pupm and vp guys have?

not a prob all this truck does is race and pull and in 2wd all i can do is destroy tires so maybe losin some bottom end power might be useful

so your sain that if you put bigger injector lines you will lose bottom end power but at the top end you gain more, if so what size lines would you have to put on and how many psi is in those line would you think
you probaly would have to run a 14mm ve with dual feed 8) what a cool set up that would be (some day)

Since Don is good at math, what is 1.8mm in inches? That is what size injection lines you have ford guy if they are stock non-intercooled lines. IC'd lines are 1.6mm id.

070 and 063 bill

but you cant compare flow looking at the diameter numbers

to compare flow you have to figure out the cross sectional area

(half the diameter squared times pie)

093 is a big increase, almost twice as big

.00385 and .00312

vs .00679
