I don't see you pulling 3rd low with 3.54's either.

I'd recommend an injector that is 75% AT MAX over stock with the hx40.....and that is if there is a tremendous amount of timing jammed in there.

So a 5x13 that is flow honed about 15% over..... or a 5x15 size. You can use a 5x18, but the problem is you are gonna have a lot of issues of putting the fire out and keeping it out with that 40. Now, if you are for certain going to upgrade to a larger turbo..... then by all means go with a 5x18, if it is gonna be used for a pulling truck.

NOW THESE ARE MY OPINIONS ON THE MATTER. TURBORAM MIGHT HAVE SOME GOOD ADVICE, AS HE PULLS.

My truck onlys weighs 6200lbs so it should be possible. Didnt someone on here flip a 271 to replace the 205? I cant find anything about it anywhere. That should make a huge difference in running 3rd low

What would be the reaso for the swap? To gain a better low gear?

Yep instead of 1.96 to 1 with a 205 it would be 2.71 to 1. Major difference. Good reason why I couldnt find anything about it on here lol thank ya

Might gain the same end result in swapping to a 4.10 rear end
