3200 to a 3800 worth it?

Postby Theredbeast » Thu Mar 07, 2013 10:54 am

currently running the 3200 gov spring. while im into my project should i put the 3800 spring in? i hear i can lose power because i will have to back my screw out to prevent runaway at higher rpms. i have 120lb valve springs so theres no problems with turning the rpms

I'm Running the 4200rpm spring, I've never tried a 3800, I went from 3200 to 4200, there is a big difference in fueling. at least that I noticed. anyways For $22 why not experiment. lol

Won't have to back your power screw out farther. I think what you were thinking is that sometimes trucks don't run away and then when driven on the street they do at high rpms. Usually this is a cause do to improper runaway testing in the driveway.
