Got my injectors last night! Cranked the motor over till I got oil pressure and oil out of the rockers, injectors installed and it fired up with a bump of the key. Did the 5 min cam break in while looking for leaks with a minor fuel leak out of one return banjo bolt. I was surprised that the timing advance didn't make it harder to start but it definitely wanted to run away while I was cycling the RMS during the cam break in, not sure if that's because of the timing or because of the bigger injectors or both...
During the test drive it was impressive on the how responsive the turbo is in the lower RPM range, I was pretty nice on the throttle but from what I could tell the boost PSI is down noticeably as well. During the motor rebuild I went with a new set of autometer gauges and found my pyro was unresponsive and my volts are all over the place with wild pulsing headlights. Originally my lights pulsed but nothing like now so it looks like I have a few gremlins to track down before I continue the engine break in. After driving my 4 gen for the last year I forget how terrible these trucks handle, at least mine with 37's and push pull steering, I probably looked drunk going down the road.
