The poly-mounts may vary well address the issue. I don't have any experience with them.

I have considered getting something similar for my mess though. Got any links to such?

They weren't cheap, but the way my truck leaks oil on it's motor mounts, it just goes through them like candy. Fixing the leaks wasn't an attractive of an option back then.

Just the transmission mounts made quite a difference in how the truck rocked with the motor, but I didn't really want my poor, aluminum 'Rag bellhousing taking that much stress.

Ok, something I meant to ask a long time ago.

When I was taking my manifold off at the start of this, the nev-r-sieze I used on the manifold bolts got progressively drier the farther back I got. To the point where the front 1/2 of the bolts still looked fresh, but the back 4 were completely dry and a complete PITA to get out. The two in the middle-back were starting to get pretty dry.

What causes this? Lack of intake air to the rear cylinders? Bad coolant flow in the head? Do the rear cylinders flow into the tighter scroll? My wastegate has been unhooked since I owned the turbo, so I don't think it's 'gating the fronts off, if it even does.

Anyone with any experience on why this is going on?

Needless to say, there's no fever here.

I intend to remake the cowbell in it's true glory if I can get my hands on a set of aftercooled injector lines. I've even got a plan on how to regain my grid heater, I just need to find a set at a decent price.

Those are pretty tough to find, especially with the Injector lines, and especially for a price I'm willing to pay for them.

I'd say I've got about $450 on my current air-to-water setup, counting boots and piping. It wouldn't be that much, but I had to have an AC shop braze bigger pipes onto my condenser and they smacked me with a nasty 2hr labor charge that I didn't see coming.

I'm not risking driving it to your house on it's first run, the last thing I need is to have to drag it over Grover hill to get back home. :P

I can push it back home with the fourwheeler if it craps itself on the way to Tyler's.

Make sure it's got some fuel in it...you don't want it to be like the time you took me for a spin in the Rowdy Ranger. :P
