Nah, the hotpipe pulled twice so far when it's been welded, and the mount has pulled once. I'm only about 1/16" off on my V-band faces, but I've been so pissed about it I know I'll make it worse if I try to fix it right now.

:EDIT: Actually, it's just been too damn hot around here. It's tough enough to be getting paid to be out in it, but coming home, hitting the AC for 40 seconds, then going back out in it just isn't in the cards for me right now.

And I'm still pissed at it.

Meh, I got the brace tweaked right and got my fittings and lines for the oil feed.

Just because it's only 1000* outside doesn't mean I'm gonna be out there any more often than the 1500* days. :P

Not really, unfortunately. I decided to guess my drain line size by eye, got it wrong, then decided to go off memory.

Needless to say, I've got about 3 wrong sizes of silicone hose here, and am waiting on the correct 7/8 size to arrive in the mail. If only Hineman texted me more often, he could have saved me $50.

As far a I'm concerned, it has now become a winter project. I've got the fenders off for replacement, and the doors off to redo the bushings. As fun as it is to get te wires out of those doors, I may never put them back on. :yuck:

You think it's fun now. Wait till you start twisting sthi apart in the trans! I don't mind working on the trans, it's just getting that fat turd out and back in the truck with it 1000* outside! :dayum: :grrr:

But it is a blast ripping a new one in 95% of the street cars at the track.

Oh man, keep that broken transmission voodoo out of here. :P

I re-bearinged my own getrag swap, so as long as it doesn't go any farther than wasted countershaft bearings or twisting the input, I should be fine. I did learn that that cast iron monster weighs waaaaaaay more than that 727 did, so pulling that is even less appetizing.
